A new company, Costa Blanca Catamarans, was established in 2001 to build and introduce to the world market a new generation of power catamarans.

The naval architect for the new EXCITECAT range is Philippe Subrero of Mer et Design, a world-renowned specialist in passenger catamaran design.  With over 800 boats produced to a wide range of specifications, his expertise insures a fast, comfortable, level ride.

The EXCITECAT models have the exceptional comfort, stability and economy of a power catamaran in a size range that combines impressive sea-keeping, ready manageability, and generous interior accommodations.

This power catamaran design allows fast cruising speeds to be maintained with comfort and economy even in conditions that would challenge standard monohull power boats.
