Sound Yachting appointed as Caliber dealer

Sound Yachting is delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the Caliber Yachts dealer for New England.

Caliber Yachts are renowned for their seaworthiness and blue-water capability, with many having made circumnavigations.

These yachts are constructed in a solid, traditional, hand-crafted way to provide a robust and durable cruising platform and their unique features and design have been developed and refined over many years and many tens of thousands of miles of ocean use in all weathers.

The Caliber Yachts designation of "LRC" stands for Long Range Cruisers - a purpose evident in the practical and accessible systems on board, load carrying capability and generous tank capacities.  Safety at sea is enhanced through reinforced impact zones in the hull, watertight collision bulkheads and a one-piece integral keel with encapsulated ballast.

The optional convertible cutter rig provides a sailplan that is flexible for changing conditions, easily managed, and able to adapt easily to heavy weather.

In all of this, the comfort and beauty of the interior has not been forgotten, with a layout that is not only practical at sea and comfortable at anchor, but is uniquely warm and inviting due to the hand-varnished teak interior wood and premium gloss finish on the teak and holly sole.
