First Lagoon 380 factory hard-top bimini in US

The first Lagoon 380 in the US equipped with the new factory hard-top (injection molded composite) bimini has now arrived at our docks.

This new hard-top bimini sits slightly higher than the previous "canvas on stainless frame" bimini that has been the only factory option up to this point, so offers a little more headroom clearance when stepping in and out of the cockpit.

The helm seat is fully protected by a sliding acrylic panel that allows full visibility of the sails while still affording protection to the helmsman while seated.

Once opened, this panel allows the helmsman to stand fully upright and thus gain maximum visibility forward and of all four corners of the boat.

The bimini has two integrated spotlights, so providing good cockpit illumination at night, and a removable plastic windscreen to offer further protection against bad weather.

As well as providing protection and comfort in the cockpit, the hard-top is a perfect location to mount solar panels.

The boat featuring this new hard-top bimini will be on display at the forthcoming Newport Boat Show.
