Lagoon 420 to be modified and known as Lagoon 421

 

In May 2009 the current Lagoon 420 (both the 40HP/75HP standard diesel engine versions and the Hybrid propulsion version) will be replaced by the Lagoon 421, featuring several significant modifications.

 

The three most significant changes on the Lagoon 421 are:

 

 

  • there will be the option of a square top mainsail

    (significant increase in the sail area, and thus performance, without a higher mast and higher center of gravity)

  • the hulls have been redesigned for better performance through less drag

    (the aft ends of the hull have been redesigned to increase performance in light winds, and also reduce turbulence noise when the boat sails fast)

  • the hard top bimini has been redesigned

    (this is an entirely new mold and is lowered to ensure a more consistent look with the rest of the Lagoon range)

The price of the Lagoon 421 remains the same as that of the Lagoon 420.
