Lagoon 440 reaches 300 hulls built

The Lagoon 440 was first seen in the US at the Miami Boat Show in February 2004 and now, just over four years later, the 300th Lagoon 440 has rolled off the production line in France.

Of these 300 Lagoon 440s built to date, some 76 boats - or 25% of worldwide production - have been sold in the USA.

This achievement is second only to the Lagoon 380 model, which has now passed 500 hulls built.

The main distinguishing feature of the Lagoon 440, is the flybridge helm station.

This control center is surrounded by all the sail control lines, reefing included, so that one person can easily handle all the maneuvers, and the extra-wide bench seat allows guests to join the helmsman and participate in the joys of sailing.

With the main cockpit now free of sail control lines and helm station, this vast social space now offers a full wet bar, including the option of a refrigerator and ice-maker.
