From ARC to WARC.....

Lagoon catamarans enjoyed success again in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) with two notable results in 2009:

• Lagoon 440 "Far Far II" came 3rd in the Multihulls division on elapsed time, and took 2nd place on corrected time

• Lagoon 420 "Vanora" was 5th over the line but on corrected time simply wins the Multihulls division...!

The ARC is now over, but the adventure continues for some of the crews, who have decided to sail all the way around with the WARC (World ARC).

Two Lagoons were on the start line in January 2010 from Saint Lucia, after their Atlantic crossing:

     -     "Tucanon" (Lagoon 440 - Dick & Irene Craig)
     -     "Noeluna" (Lagoon 421 - Matthieu Vermersch)

February saw both boats heading towards the Equator with some way to go until their adventure is complete in 2011!
